CROWLEY – Investigation continues into an early Sunday house fire that killed two youngsters and into another that destroyed two homes and damaged others.

Fire Marshal investigators say a fire that started in the master bedroom quickly spread in a house in the 200 block of West Eighth Street killed Tah Robinson, 4, and Micah Johnnie, 2.

They say it likely started with a ceiling fan and/or a discarded cigarette shortly after 3 a.m.

Four other people escaped the burning building before firefighters arrived.

The other blaze, in the 600 block of Jacobs Ave,, destroyed the house in which it started as well as a neighboring one and damaged some mobile homes nearby.

The structures were either vacant or no one was at home when the fire started.
