CENTERVILLE — Centerville’s Lady Bulldogs upped their current District 8B record to 3-0 with an 8-6 victory over Christian Life here Saturday in league action.

Lacy LaGrange started and worked the first one-third of the game not allowing a hit nor a run while striking out one and walking three.

Carrie Hebert hurled the final 6 2/3 innings, striking out 7, giving up 3 hits and walking 4 batters.

Leading hitters for CHS were: Summar White, 3 for 5, 2 singles, 2 runs; Lacy LaGrange, 2 for 4, 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 2 game winning RBIs in the bottom of the 7th; Reagan Romero, 1 for 4, single, run; Brooke Boudreaux, run; Taylor Saucier, 1 for 4, single, run; Carrie Hebert, 1 for 4, single, 2 RBIs; Ashton Landry, 1 for 4, single, run; Victoria Theriot, 1 for 4, single, RBI , run and Courtney Landry, 1 for 4, single, RBI, run.

Centerville (14-1, 3-0) will play host to Holden on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
