An academic pep rally was held at the Sam A. Siracusa Catholic Community Center Wednesday morning for the students of Central Catholic High School. The theme of the rally was "A Royal Salute to Academic Excellence," which featured popular icons and characters of past and present. Awards presented during the rally included one million words read for the year, a final grade point average of 2.5 through 3.7 maintained, and meeting ACT score goals.
