
THE CENTRAL CATHOLIC HIGH School Tennis and Golf teams were honored during separate ceremonies in May to celebrate their seasons. The girls’ tennis team qualified for state, and eighth-grader Emma Thomas won the regional title. On the boys’ side, Luca Grizzaffi and Luke Patterson were the team captains. In boys’ golf, Chaz Galloway received the most improved player and lowest scoring average for 2012. Lettermen awards were presented to Anthony Hunter, C.J. Laiche, Bennett Duffy, Miles Scarbrough and Carter Arcemont. CCHS also participated in girls’ golf for the first time this year. Girls’ receiving letters were Sissy Cheramie, Alana Conrad, Tiffany Hue and Paige Arcemont.
