Chamber leadership program announced

Jason Bailey spoke to the Franklin Rotary Club Tuesday on St. Mary Chamber of Commerce’s newest program, Leadership St. Mary. Leadership St. Mary is a program that helps recruit and develop leaders who will be active and involved in moving the parish forward. The future focus of these leaders will be on improving the business, educational, governmental and community quality of life environments. Application deadline is Sept. 10 and the welcome reception is set for Sept. 11. The program consists of an overnight retreat and seven one-day sessions per month, with the last session on April 10, 2013. Bailey is the chamber vice chair and chair of Leadership St. Mary.
