Chamber of Commerce honors six Thursday

The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting and installation of officers Thursday at Cypress Bayou Casino.

Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle was the guest speaker and master of ceremony. Entertainment for the evening was provided by comedian Murray Conque.

Several awards were presented during the meeting. The Hospitality Award was presented to Robert Lopez, the Business of the Year Award to Mark Tool & Rubber, the Citizen of the Year Award to St. Mary Parish President Paul Naquin, the Non-Profit of the Year Award to St. Mary Community Action Agency, the Virginia Tyler Guillotte Award to Al Kuhlman and the President’s Award to Teche Federal Bank.
