SCREAMING EAGLES TAEKWONDO Academy’s Alphonse Chaney Jr. recently competed in the 32nd annual Fort Worth International Taekwondo Championship Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Chaney was awarded a gold medal for a first
place finish in the forms competition and a silver medal for a second-place finish in the sparring competition. He is a 2nd Dan blackbelt in Taekwondo certified through the Kukkiwon in Korea. His instructor is Grey White, who is the leader and chief instructor of Screaming Eagles Taekwondo Academy in Patterson. Above is Chaney, left, and White.
