The annual tournament attracted some of the area’s best golfers.
The format was individual stroke play with players flighted by their handicaps. A new Senior Division was added this year.
After carding a 40 on the front nine, Mayea played a very respectable even-par back nine of 36, finishing with four straight pars. Blustery conditions made play difficult.
“My tee-to-green game was solid Saturday,” Mayea said. “But Sunday was a real test with all the wind. The holes into the wind were as tough as they could be!”
Glenn Jumonville won the Senior Division (Freddie Couples Flight), scoring a remarkable (76-70) 146. He finished strong with a birdie on the difficult 18th. His two-under par effort was the best of the tournament.
Fabian LeMaire won Low Net honors with a net score of 141.
Guy Pitts won the Jason Dufner Flight with a (90-88) 178 total. Morris Beverly won Low Net honors with a net score of 135.
