Chi Chapter donates to Center of Hope

THE CHI CHAPTER of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International collected contributions at its annual Christmas social. Chi Chapter, an honorary women teachers’ organization in St. Mary Parish, solicited donations from its membership to benefit the consumers of Center of Hope in Centerville. Center of Hope, sponsored by ARC of St. Mary, offers vocational and employment services for adults with developmental disabilities. Chi Chapter’s donations will help defray costs associated with providing the noon meal for Center of Hope consumers. Chi Chapter President Dawn Chaisson, second from right, presented the donation to Bonita Peltier, Center of Hope executive director as Chi Chapter members and Center of Hope consumers looked on.
