Chi Chapter observes Read Across America Day

Two members of Chi Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International offered support for Centerville High School’s observance of Read Across America Day on March 1. While Read Across America is a national program to instill a love of reading, for the students and staff of Centerville High School it is also about bringing the community together to celebrate literacy on what would have been Dr. Seuss’ 109th birthday. Coordinating the event was Centerville High School’s Assistant Principal Kristi Estay, center. Chi members are Mary Ann Hebert, left and Sue Price. Delta Kappa Gamma is an honorary women’s education society dedicated to promoting participation in literacy programs.
