Children’s Museum to host 'Treasure Buddies' screening

Local children have the opportunity to see a screening of Disney’s movie, “Treasure Buddies,” before its release to DVD and Blue-ray.

The Children’s Museum of Acadiana in Lafayette will host the screening Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The movie is free with the $5 admission to the museum, located at 201 East Congress St.

Patrons will be treated to the movie, activities, prizes, snacks and an opportunity to win the DVD before its release to the public. Plus, patrons also are able to explore the children’s museum.

According to museum officials, children adore the “Buddies” and parents appreciate the lessons in teamwork, friendship and problem-solving. The movie trailer can be viewed online at LafayetteLA.MacaroniKid.com.
