Chitimacha tribal officer killed; suspect arrested
A Chitimacha tribal police officer perished and two St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputies were critically injured Saturday January 26th in Charenton after a shooting spree. A press conference was held by local and state officials at St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin Monday to address the public on the tragic incident. 01/28/13
