Closings set for Independence Day

State, parish and local municipal offices will be closed Wednesday in recognition of the Fourth of July holiday. Normal hours will resume Thursday.

The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will close at noon on Wednesday to allow its employees some time for the Independence Day celebration.

There will be no interruption of garbage pickup in the Tri-City area.

Offices of The Daily Review will close early on Wednesday and Friday to give its employees time to celebrate with family and friends.

Due to the closures, news and advertising deadlines will be earlier than usual.
