It’s supposed to happen this week: After being purchased at sheriff’s sale by Lad Services LLC of Morgan City for $160,000, plans are to right the barge on Thursday, and it should be removed from the Charenton Navigation and Drainage Canal by Saturday. It’ll be taken to the company’s salvage yard in Morgan City.
