CST will also feature the most extensive postgame coverage of the Tigers following the LSU-UO contest emanating from the Louisiana CAT studios in New Orleans and on-site from Arlington. Tune in for highlights from co-hosts Victor Howell and Paul Crane, as they get analysis from Lyn Rollins, Greg Bowser and Jordy Hultberg Live from Cowboys Stadium.
“The anticipation of the Oregon-LSU game on September 3 has been building for months” stated CST Network head Rod Mickler, “In anticipation of that great game, for a full week we will turn the full attention of our network and social media outlets to all things Purple and Gold, CST is must have TV for all Tiger fans!”
CST will also highlight the Tigers across all of its multi-media platforms including Coxsportstv.com, Twitter, Youtube and Facebook. The social media sites will feature polls, blogs from CST announcers, computer wallpaper and chances to win autographed LSU gear.
CST will also go “Behind Enemy Lines” with reports on the Ducks from writers that know them inside and out. Oregon football beat writers Rob Moseley of the Eugene (Ore.) Register Guard and Gary Horowitz of the Salem (Ore.) Statesman Journal will be featured on CoxSportsTV.com every day during Tiger Week.
All CST televised games from the 2010 season are currently available on the networks’ Video on Demand service, CST Now! This feature is available free to COX customers in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette who subscribe to at least the expanded basic package. With CST Now! viewers can watch games on their schedule and can even pause, fast-forward and rewind with DVD-like control.
Tiger Week begins Saturday August 27 with an encore of LSU’s 2010 season-opening win against North Carolina in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta followed by their victory against Mississippi State in the conference opener in Baton Rouge. Later that night, tune in for CST’s 2011 LSU Preview Show that gives insight on the challenges LSU faces this season and boasts an exclusive 1-on-1 with head coach Les Miles.
