Maison Jardin and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4222 presented Memorial Day at Cypress Park in Morgan City on Monday. The program began with the Cypress Park ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce, the H&B Young Foundation, Mayor Tim Matte, city officials, and the public. After the ribbon-cutting, the Memorial Day program began. The program is dedicated “for the glory of God and in honor and remembrance of our military men and women who have served our country,” event speakers said.
