The results of alleged drinking and driving are evident in this image of an early morning crash in which Tina Federer, 43, of Theriot Alley in Berwick was charged with first offense driving while intoxicated and careless operation with an accident. Federer was charged at 12:30 a.m. today after she hit this telephone pole on Oregon Street in Berwick. She was treated and released from Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Federer refused to submit to field sobriety and intoxilyzer tests, Berwick Police Chief James Richard said. Federer remained incarcerated this morning with no bond set.
