A Girl Scout day camp led by adult volunteers and Girl Scout Program-aides was held this week at the American Legion in Calumet. There were more than 30 Girl Scouts from east St. Mary Parish attending the camp. Some of the girls enjoyed arts and crafts, while others enjoyed activities that included exploring the outdoors, songs, games, sports, ceremonies and water fun.
