Pediatric anesthetist

SHREVEPORT – Services for LSUHSD Director of Pediatric Anesthesia Dr. Donna Holder will be Wednesday. She died Nov. 18 at age 58.

Holder was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and Tulane School of Medicine.

Survivors include a son.

Rose-Neath, Bossier City is in charge of arrangements.

Civic leader

ST. FRANCISVILLE – Services for civic leader JoAnn Holcomb will be Saturday. She died Nov. 19 at age 81.

She was a charter member of the West Feliciana Historical Society and first woman president of the West Feliciana Civic Club and a driving force in construction of the parish tourist information center.

Survivors include three daughters.

Banker, Christmas tree farmer

SHREVEPORT – Services for banker and farmer Vernon Adams will be Wednesday. He died Nov. 20 at age 82.

A veteran of the Korean War, he was retired from Pioneer Bank (now Capital One) and owned and operated Adams Christmas Tree Farm.

Survivors include his wife Glenda, a step-son and two daughters.

Arrangements are by Rose-Neath, Southside.

Former alderman

CARENCRO – Services are Wednesday for former alderman and school board member Riolan Coussan. He died Nov. 21 at age 98.

Cousson was a Carencro alderman for 16 years and served one term on the Lafayette Parish School Board. He was manager of Farmers' Gin.

Survivors include his wife Sandra and a son.

Arrangements are by Melancon.
