ATON ROUGE – Services for agricultural economics expert Harlon Traylor, Sr. will be Friday. He died Dec. 19 at age 82.

Traylor, a Korean Wan veteran, was a retired LSU professor and adviser to a number of public boards and commissions. He implemented several international projects for the LSU Agricultural Center.

Survivors include his wife Doris, two sons and a daughter.

Arrangements are by Resthaven.

Former professor, pastor

BRIGHTON, Mich. – Services will be Friday for former LSU Eunice professor and Methodist minister Kenneth Chapman. He died Dec. 18 at age 84.

Rev. Chapman was an English professor at LSUE when it opened in 1968 and pastored churches in Jena, Palmetto and Melville, La. He also was a former pastor of Emporia (Kan.) Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Ruby, a son and four daughters.

Arrangements are by Ardoin’s, Eunice.
