BATON ROUGE – Services for Episcopal Bishop Rev. Clarence Pope, Jr. will be Thursday. He died Jan. 7 at age 82.
After serving churches in Baton Rouge and Shreveport he was elected the second bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas.
Survivors include his wife Martha, a son and a daughter.
