Former legislator

LAFAYETTE – Services for former legislator Ernie Alexander will be under direction of Delhomme. He died Jan. 17.

He was a state representative from 2000 to 2008 and member of the city-parish council prior to that. He was a teacher by profession.

Noted psychologist

RUSTON – Services will be Saturday for psychologist, researcher and professor Dr. Mary Ann Goodwyn. She died Jan. 13 at age 65.

She was associate professor of psychology at Louisiana Tech. Prior to that she was on the faculty of UL-Monroe, as well as other colleges and universities.

Survivors include a brother.

Arrangements are by Kilpatrick.

Long-time musician

BROUSSARD – Services for musician Darryl Ransonet will be Thursday. He died Jan. 15 at age 59.

He was trumpeter for the popular regional band GTO and D-Street brass for more than 10 years.
