BATON ROUGE – Services for long-time attorney Victor Sachse, III will be Friday. He died Feb. 27 at age 81.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a mineral law expert. Among his cases was winning a favorable ruling for the state in offshore mineral rights dispute with the federal government. He was a special law lecturer at LSU.
Survivors include his wife Mary-Lynn and a step-son.
