STONEWALL – Services for former Order of Easter Star Grand Matron of Louisiana Elizabeth Roach will be Saturday. She died Aug. 22 at age 80.
She was an OES member for more than 60 years and was also past State Mom of the International Order of Demolay. She owned and operated a child care facility and was retired from Kilpatrick Life Insurance.
Arrangements are by Rose-Neath, Shreveport.
Medical director
NEW ORLEANS – Services for pediatrician and medical director Dr. Gene Catherine Hassinger will be Friday. She died Aug. 20 at age 86.
She had a private practice and for 20 years was medical director for the Orleans Parish School Board..
Survivors include a brother and a sister.
Arrangements are by Lakelawn, Metairie.
