Attorney, IDB chairman

MONROE – Services for attorney Charles Trascher, III will be Wednesday. He died Sept. 20 at age 64.

He was a partner of the firm of Snellings, Breard, Sartor, Inabnett & Trascher. and served as chairman of the Indigent Defender Board.

Survivors include his wife Barbara, a son and a daughter.

Arrangements are by Kilpatrick.

SLU math professor

HAMMOND – Services for long-time SLU math professor Dr. Francis Fournet, Jr. will be Friday. He died Sept. 23 at age 89.

He was a veteran of the European and Pacific theaters of World War II. He taught at Southeastern Louisiana University for more than 20 years.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn and five daughters.

Arrangements are by Harry McKneely and Son.

ULM journalism, pr instructor

MONROE – Services for long-time UL-Monroe journalism and public relations instructor Dr. Robert Carroll will be scheduled in October. He died Sept. 22 at age 68.

He was on the ULM faculty for 25 years and was also former assistant chair of the communications department at the University of Southern Indiana. He was former president of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana.

Survivors include his wife Hope, a son and a daughter.

Arrangements are by Heffner.
