BATON ROUGE – Services for long-time lawyer James Odom, Sr. will be Friday. He died Oct. 9 at age 82.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He, John White, Jr. and former Gov. Robert Kennon formed a law firm, later joined by Kennon’s son and Jay Dardenne. He was a former president of the LSU Alumni Federation .
Survivors include his wife Patricia and a son.
