Former principal of the year

BATON ROUGE – Services will be Saturday for former Magnet High principal Lois Sumrall. She died Jan. 1 at age 77.

She was an educator for almost 40 years and a former Louisiana Principal of the Year.

Survivors include her husband Herbert, two sons and a daughter.

Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.

Attorney, medical insurance executive

NEW ORLEANS – Services for attorney and retired medical insurance executive Henry Jumonville, III will be Monday. He died Dec. 31 at age 69.

He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and served as director of the Division of Socioeconomics for the Louisiana State Medical Society. He was president of Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Co. when he retired and returned to private law practice. He had been chairman of the board of Plaquemines Oil & Development Co. since 1991 and was active in a number of professional, civil and social organizations.

Survivors include his wife Gerri and three children.

Arrangements are by Lakelawn, Metairie.
