GONZALES – Services were Feb. 2 for former Sheriff Harold Tridico. He died Jan. 31 at age 86.
He was US Navy veteran of World War II. He was with the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office for almost 40 years, including 22 as sheriff..
Survivors include his wife Joyce and four children.
World War II tail-gunner ACE BATON ROUGE – Services for World War II tail-gunner ace Joseph Myshrall will be Monday. He died Fe. 2 at age 92.
He served with the 8th, 12th and 15th US Army Air Force units over Europe and flew 50 daylight combat missions. He was a tail gunner aboard the famed B17F “Thunderbird” and one of only 27 World War II aerial bomber gunner aces. He retired from State Farm Insurance after 43 years employment.
Survivors include his wife Lucille, three sons and a daughter.
