Deputies arrest Berwick woman on drug charges

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the following arrests overnight, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:

—Sandra Rogers, 52, of Nicklaus Street, Berwick, was arrested at 5:31 p.m. Thursday on 4th Street in Morgan City for failure to use a turn signal, possession of a legend drug without a prescription (Robaxin, Zanaflex, and Neurontin) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains jailed with bail not yet set.

—Riley Robert Hall, 41, of Foresman Avenue, Palm Bay, Fla., was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Thursday on Lake Palourde Road at Friendship Alley in Amelia for possession of schedule II (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area was leaving a store when a subject walked into the store. The subject saw the deputy, turned around, and left the store. The deputy later encountered the same subject walking on Friendship Alley and stopped to speak with him. During a pat down of the subject, who was identified as Hall, the deputy located a glass pipe, the report stated. Hall was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Hall remains jailed with bail not yet set.

—Andrew Joseph Paul Hebert, 20, of Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, was arrested at his residence at 11:24 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of unauthorized entry of a business and simple criminal damage to property. He remains jailed with a $10,000 bail.

The Berwick Police Department reported that there were no arrests overnight, according to Chief James Richard.

The Patterson Police Department reported that there were no arrests overnight, according to Chief Patrick M. LaSalle.
