Franklin Foundation Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr. Keyna Whitney, M.D., as the new Medical Director of the Emergency Department. Dr. Whitney, a board certified family practice physician with experience in emergency and ambulatory care has practiced emergency room medicine since 2006. She is a 2004 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and completed her accredited residency through the Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Residency program. “We are extremely proud to have Dr. Whitney join our staff. She brings a patient advocate philosophy to the clinical area, and possesses a strong background in clinical policy development and staff management”, said FFH Chief Executive Officer Parker Templeton.
