CARLIE DUPRE WAS crowned Miss Lake Palourde during the Morgan City Power Boat Association pageant held June 30 at Maison Jardin Assisted Living in Morgan City. She is the 20-year-old daughter of Frances and Oren Dupre of Morgan City. Dupre will represent the MCPBA during its “Waves of Thunder” outboard races Friday-Sunday on Lake Palourde along La. 70 in Morgan City. Heartland Photography
