Ms. Boudreaux is survived by her four sons, Lt. Commander Lou E. Boudreaux, Ret., and his wife, Lena, of Pensacola, Florida; Huey P. Boudreaux II and his wife, Lorna, of Lafayette; Dewey W. Boudreaux and his wife, Mirela, of Baton Rouge; and TSgt. Donald L. Boudreaux, Ret., and his wife, Diane, of Slidell; two daughters, Dr. Mary K. Boudreaux and her husband, Calvin Cutshaw, of Auburn, Alabama, and Major Susan B. Pohlen, Ret., and her husband, Terry, of Pilot Point, Texas; her sister, Edna Ogulewicz and her husband, Mitch, of Holyoke, Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Celina M. Boudreaux; her parents, Armand Elisee and Celina Fournier Elisee; one sister, Anita Elisee Knapp; one brother, William Elisee and his wife, Mary; and her former husband, Huey P. Boudreaux.
Ms. Boudreaux was a devoted mother and wife, serving her husband faithfully and raising her seven children in love and devotion while traveling with her husband in the Air Force to places around the world including Puerto Rico, Japan and Germany. Eva had a wonderful sense of humor and will always be remembered for the laughter and joy she brought to others through her retelling of jokes and stories. In her latter years she enjoyed the company of her peers at Bob Hope Retirement Village in bingo, trips to the Biloxi casinos and visits with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Ibert’s Mortuary from 3 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. Interment will follow on Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Southern Memorial Park Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi, at 2 p.m.
