Enola B. Colgin, a native of Jeanerette and resident of Morgan City, passed away at her residence on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011.

Enola was a faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and has been a resident of Morgan City since 1942. She also was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, and will always be lovingly known as “Maw-Maw Nola.”

Enola is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth “Liz” Colgin; five grandchildren, Danny Colgin and wife Jenny, Lisa Colgin Lallande and husband Darryl, Kristi Colgin, Clay Colgin and wife Dana, and Clint Colgin and wife Nicole; 14 great-grandchildren, Daniel, Anna and Sarah Colgin, Abigail, Jon, Dominic and Richard Lallande, Megan and James DuBois, Taylor, Stefan and Cy Colgin, and Emily and Katy Colgin; and one great-great-grandchild, Mackenzy DuBois.

Enola was proceeded in death by her husband, Howard Colgin; parents, Morris and Anaiese Barrilleaux; and her son, Dickie Colgin.

Visitation will take place at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, beginning at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resuming Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, from 10 a.m. until noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church, and she will be placed in the Morgan City Mausoleum following the Mass.
