Estay honored with Arbor Day dedication

PATTERSON GARDEN CLUB and Hattie Watts Elementary held an Arbor Day Celebration Feb. 3 at the school in Patterson. The event included presentations by second grade students. Following the presentations, a tree was dedicated by PGC in honor of Evelyn Estay, PGC president from 2009-11. The tree was planted at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. On hand for the dedication were, kneeling from left, Christine Justilian holding Ava Justilian and Raylynn Guidry. Standing from left are Kristie Justilian, Estay, Pat Lirette, Claire Sawyer, Ann Murray, the Rev. Donavan Labbe’, Linda Thomas, Barbara Lacoste, Daisy Leblanc, Bobbi Diaz and John Rentrop.
