FRANKLIN JAMBOREE: Franklin Lady Hornet J’Ashalya Bowers dribbles upcourt during the annual Franklin Jamboree Thursday at the FSHS Gym. In Thursday’s action, the Franklin Hornets topped the West St. Mary Wolfpack, 35-27; Morgan City Tigers downed Berwick Panthers, 35-13; West St. Mary’s Lady Wolfpack beat Patterson Lady Jills, 34-21; Hanson’s Lady Tigers stopped Berwick Lady Panthers, 25-12 and the Morgan City Lady Tigers nipped the Franklin Lady Hornets, 22-17. The Franklin Lady Hornets will take on Dutchtown on Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the annual Acadiana HoopFest at St. Thomas More in Lafayette.
