Gerard and Shelly Faucheux of Charenton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Faucheux to Matthew Paul Burke, son of Eddy and Debora Burke of Centerville.

The wedding ceremony will be held Saturday, January 7 in Centerville at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Fran and Chad Fredrick of Baldwin, Louis and Joyce Faucheux of Charenton and Fred and Becky Landry of Charenton. Lauren is a 2008 graduate of Hanson Memorial High School. She is employed with Oceaneering International in Morgan City.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Antionette and Donald Hull Sr. of Ricohoc and the late Francis “Curtis” Sr. and Goldie Burke. Matthew is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School. He is employed with Cameron International in Berwick.

Following the wedding ceremony, the couple will reside in Centerville.
