The wharf in Morgan City remains off limits to the public until further notice due to flood damage. City workers will be occupied replacing missing planks on the wharf and filling the many holes like this one that are along the wharf’s edge. The Atchafalaya River crested at 10.35 feet earlier this month and is still higher than normal.
