Five teens charged in cyberbullying, battery case

PORT BARRE – Four teenagers, one a juvenile, are charged with the cyberbulling of a Port Barre boy. A fifth teen is accused of battery.

Police say the youth was attacked on two days while at school.

Police said the alleged attacks began after a 15-year-old posted a comment on Facebook about a teen who was recently accidently shot to death.

Charged with cyberbullying are Aaron C. Wyble, 21, Opelouas; Jesse Mae McCollugh, 19, Lafayette; Tucker Collins, 18, Port Barre; and a 15-year-old, who is also charged with battery in the school incident.

Another 15-year-old, also of Port Barre, is charged with battery.
