The Mississippi River Commission is in the Tri-Cities area for its annual meeting and public hearing sessions when commissioners hear local concerns and desires about river levels and usage. The commission once again came on the Motor Vehical Mississippi, above, which conveys the board down the Mississippi River and into the Atchafalaya River through the locks near the Old River Control Structure in Concordia Parish.
