According to radio logs, Eunice Police received a report at 9:47 p.m. of suspects throwing glass explosives out the window of a vehicle as it traveled on Second Street.
Police caught up with the vehicle as it headed south on Third Street. The driver fled from police and individuals in the vehicle threw more glass bombs at pursuing police, according to the log
The vehicle was finally stopped, apparently in the Pearl Street area, and four suspects were taken into custody, according to the log.
Inside the vehicle, police allegedly found three loaded weapons, as well as evidence for making homemade bombs from fireworks.
There were no reports of injuries in the radio log. Although there were marks caused by the explosives on one of the police units, there was no damage.
Arrested and charged were:
Mitch Miller, 29, 464 Susie Dr.; flight from an officer, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, terrorizing, manufacture and possession of explosive.
Stephen C. Fontenot, 29, 1235 Hwy. 29; terrorizing, manufacture and possession of an explosive.
Rustin M Cassedy, 45, 1039 Roy LeBlanc Rd., Rayne; terrorizing, manufacture and possession of explosive.
Andrew B. Duplechin, 24, 3029 Hwy. 95; terrorizing, manufacture and possession of explosive.
