Each year the Franklin Golden Age Club honors one of its own as “Member of the Year”. This award is bestowed on an outstanding member of the club. The recipient is chosen by secret ballot of club members. This year we are proud to honor our club president, Floyd LeBlanc, as “Member of the Year” for 2012. Longtime friend and former co-worker, Howard Winston, presented him to the club as this year’s recipient. Floyd works untiringly for the betterment of the club and is always ready to assist where needed. He has always been active in the club and held the position of treasurer before accepting his current role as club president. Floyd and his wife Charlene are parents of five children and grandparents of three. Present for the occasion was their son Trevor, their daughter Amanda and their three grandchildren, Evan, Brooke and Hannah.
