Franklin improved to 6-4 in league play with the lop-sided victory over Erath.
Brown scored a game-high 27 points on five deuces and four treys and 5 of 6 free throws.
Simieon Theodile bagged 18 points on a pair of treys and six deuces.
DeAndre Charles polished off the Hornets double digit scorers with 10 points on two 3-pointers along with two deuces.
Rounding out the scoring for the Hornets were: Jamal Johnson, 6; Tarence Clark, 4; D’Marcus Bowie, 4 and David Kinchen, 3.
Franklin (12-14, 6-4) will play host to Patterson on Friday in a key District 9-3A contest. Franklin, currently ranked No. 40 with a 6-4 record in District 9-3A action, will need a victory over No. 8-ranked Patterson and Berwick in order to earn a berth in the state playoffs.
Franklin closes out the season with an important two-game set by hosting Patterson on Friday before hosting Berwick on Monday due to the Mardi Gras holiday on Tuesday.
