Franklin Junior High prevails over MCJHS

The Franklin Jr. High School opened season with a win over Morgan City by a score of 34-28.

Running back Charles Webb scored three touchdowns and two-point conversion while quarterback Bernard Davis added one 2-point conversion.

The Rattlers were led up front by Jaylon Randle, center; guards, Roy Jackson and Jared Chavis; tackles, Semaj Washington and Leo Gradley.

Fullback Charles Webb, splitend Jumane Robertson, slotback David Kinchen, wingback Charles Burrell and quarterback Bernard Davis led the offense.

The Rattlers were led up front by defensive ends, Ervin Collin and Ladanta Tabor, tackles Lenzy McDaniels and Roy Jackson; linebacker, Romandraye Polidore and Christen Bell; strong safeties Charles Burrell and Charles Webb; free safties Tra’Antray James and Terrance Robertson; cornerbacks Bryon Vincent and David Kinchen.

The next game will be Tuesday, Sept. 27 at home against Berwick.
