The contest is sponsored by the City of Franklin and the Franklin Garden Club.
Participants should have their lights on by 6:30 p.m. for the judging. It is not necessary to register.
Homes will be judged in a general outdoors category. Businesses will be judged on their display windows.
The city will be divided into four sections with a first and second place award for each section in the general outdoors category. Businesses will have a first and second place award.
