Four Franklin Police Department officers were recognized as “Top Cops” Thursday during Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s “Light of Hope” ceremony. Franklin Police had the most officers recognized of any department in the parish. From left are Officer Seth Dantin, Lt. Kennedy Gunner, Chief Sabria McGuire, Lt. Larry Bolden and Officer Brandan Trahan. City police took 48 impaired drivers off the road from November 2010 to November 2011.
