In an act that cost him his life and cost the staff of The Daily Review about an hour of production time, a squirrel blew out an electric feeder line on Front Street near Conrad Shipyards at 8:19 a.m. Workers from the Morgan City utilities department were on the scene quickly to make repairs, and power was restored about 9 a.m.
