Geronia Howard, 40, a resident and a native of Houma, died Friday, September 21, 2012 at 2:59 a.m., at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, at Greater New Salem Baptist Church in Houma, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Southdown Cemetery.

Geronia leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Dion Howard; her mother-in-law, Sandy Simms; one son, Dion Howard Jr., a stepson, D’Jai Wolfe; a daughter, Shaquera Howard; four brothers, Alexander McKinley Jr., Prince McKinley, Mario McKinley and Juan (Chanel) McKinley; two sisters Debra (Percy) Galmore and Robin McKinley, all of Houma; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
