Gordon Joseph Verdun, 58, a native and resident of Patterson, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 12:02 p.m., at his residence.
Gordon served in the United States Army.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, from 8 a.m. until funeral at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Ibert’s Cemetery.
Gordon leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Geraldine Gobert Verdun of Patterson; seven brothers, Johnny (Celita) Verdun, Mario (Audrey) Verdun, Chucky Verdun, Robert Verdun, Craig (Marion) Verdun and Laverne Verdun, all of Patterson, and Charles Miller of Lake Charles; five sisters, Mrs. Alex (Joann) Labry, Mrs. Anthony (Jessie) Decuir, Mrs. Shelleta Clay, Mrs. Donnez Thompson and Mrs. Mary Jo Lopez, all of Patterson; one godchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mr. Verdun was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents and a brother.
