THE GOLDEN AGE 49ERS will hold its 44th Annual Coronation Ball Saturday at St. Mary Senior Citizens Center, home of St. Mary AARP, on Chennault Street in Morgan City. Bidding farewell will be last year’s Golden Age King and Queen John Quatkemeyer and Sufronia L. Verret. The BYOB event will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring food and a live band. Admission is $5 at the door.
