Gospel stage again slated for S&P Festival

The Fellowship of Love Gospel Stage will return for another year as part of the 76th annual Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in downtown Morgan City.

Local entertainers as well as others from across the Gulf Coast region are expected to perform this Saturday and Sunday at M.D. Shannon Elementary School’s gym on Brashear Avenue in Morgan City.

Saturday’s schedule includes:

—Opening at noon.

—Christian dance group A Time to Dance of Houma, 1 p.m.

—Waldo Lilly & Bethany Choir of Brookhaven, Miss., 2 p.m.

—Fire Stone, Praise and Worship, Bethany Baptist Church, 3 p.m.

—Brother David Diggs, Gospel Group, 4 p.m.

—Chosen, Brother Jerry Savage of Baton Rouge, 5 p.m.

—Rejubilation Evangelical Community Choir of Thibodaux, 6 p.m.

—Remnant Voices, Samual Green of Marrero, 7 p.m.

—Good News Quartet of Port Arthur, Texas, 7:30 p.m.

—Christian Fellowship Mass Choir, Gail Sanders and Brother Michael Sears of Morgan City, 8 p.m.

—Gospel Inspirers of Morgan City, 8:30 p.m.

—One Accord of Franklin, 9 p.m.

—Michael Sears Group of Morgan City, 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday’s schedule includes:
